I helped Zakat Coin turn a logo concept into a complete brand, then guided an offshore development team as they built its websites and app.

Zakat Coin had a mission, a logo concept, and big plans: a coin, a nonprofit site, and a payments app called ZakPay. What it didn’t have was a brand system, or a reliable way to get its vision to a development team on the other side of the world without details getting lost along the way.

Turned the founders’ concept into a polished vector logo and a brand style guide that every team, from web to events, could follow.
The Zakat Coin brand
Designed and coded working HTML pages for zakatcoin.com, zakatcoin.org, and ZakPay, including the admin portal where staff review applications, run Smart Audits, and approve charities. The development team implemented them directly in their sandbox sites.
The application queue I designed and coded
Ran weekly calls with the developers, answered every question, and translated between them and Zakat Coin’s leadership so nothing got lost.
How the weekly sync worked
Reviewed the charity dashboard screen by screen and redesigned it. Status now sits up front, empty screens point to the next step, and Withdraw stays locked until a charity is approved, so the developers had a clear target to build toward.
Notes from my dashboard review
The verified charities page of the Zakat Coin admin portal, where staff edit details, update logos, rerun audits, or block access. Charity names and contacts are blurred for privacy.
My part: Designed and coded the page in HTML for the development team to implement.

The ZakRated application inside the charity portal, which walks an organization through each requirement for certification, from legal identity to final attestation.
My part: Reviewed the original flow page by page and shaped the redesign the developers built.

The homepage for zktcoin.com: “A new kind of currency, with giving at its core.”
My part: Designed the original site and supplied build-ready pages to the development team.

For the annual gala, I produced everything guests saw: the on-screen content that ran all night, polished sponsor videos, and the standing banner that anchored the room.
